would you kill someone?

if you were in some kind of hostage situation with 6 others and the kidnapper said either you shoot 1 person and the rest go free including yourself or i shoot the other 6 and you go free. should you shoot 1 to save the other or let them all get shot?

I'd shoot the one taking everyone hostage in the first place

I would kill for someone else I think, if I had kids and someone was putting their lives at risk for example.

But for my own benefit... I doubt I could. But wouldn't know unless I was in the situation. I would't be in a house with that many people anyway so this question doesn't apply to me really.

if they were trying to kill me or children involved probably but would still effect me as id have to live with that action for rest of my days if i had good reason that would lessen the blow but wouldn't justify it..i think youd need to be a messed up individual to kill someone and shrug it off..look at most of the notorous serial killers...they weren't outgoing,confident individuals they were loners,shy and subdued

it reminds me of the film saw 5. i dont think i could although you never know until your in that kid of situation i suppose
