Anyone else think it's amazing? Very stupid and very painful...but very amazing?

It's having scars made on your body, its a bit like a tattoo but with scars instead.
Amazing art but it makes me feel ill.

Not at all, different intentions. Plus I don't think self harmers generally do it in a pretty pattern.

some of the pieces ive seen once healed looked awesome...and imo no different to getting a tattoo

No difference at all to tattooing imo, just no ink, i'd have to be put to sleep to have it done though I think
